This is the new portfolio piece. I chose to do the logo as a new piece because I would one day love to open my own Bed and Breakfast, so I thought this would give me a jump start on my business plans.

Magazine Cover
This is the magazine cover. I chose to do a magazine cover that is similar to Cosmopolitan and Teen magazine. I used a picture of my sister and her friends and called the magazine Girlfriends. It is supposed to be a magazine that entails a world of topics that all woman want to read and tell their girlfriends.
3 Type Portraits
This is my favorite one of them all. This is the shape portrait. It was difficult at first to try and pick letters that would make the shape of my facial features. Once I found the font I liked the rest was not as bad.
This is the value portrait. This did not turn out well at all, except for the eyes. I did not understand how to do it very well and this is what I came up with.
This is the line portrait. I thought it came out all right. The face was the hardest to do, especially the mouth, because everything was not lining up properly or did not look right.
Tattoo Website Interface
This is an example of the tattoo website interface project. I chose to do a dark and evil interface because most tattoo shops do a variety of skull tattoos. I chose the name Kev's World of Art because a friend of the families name was Kevin and he had passed away. He was an amazing artist and has created a variety of artwork including tattoos.

Dreamscape
This is the dreamscape project. For this project we were supposed to take a picture or landscape and make it into a dreamworld. I chose to do it a little differently than others. I used Salvadore Dally's painting "The Girl in the Window" as the outside piece and placed myself and my son in front of the window. The idea was that I was visualizing what I wanted for my son, such as to be a football player or a police officer. It was my dream-world for my son.
